LarAccounting
It is a web-based accounting system designed for Guatemalan companies. It integrates the complete accounting cycle, chart of accounts, XML import, journal entry generation, and mandatory ledgers, adapted to both tax regimes: General and Small Taxpayer.
The Challenge
The Guatemalan market is dominated by expensive, locally installed, and unintuitive solutions, many of which are adapted from other countries without considering local tax regulations. The challenge was to develop a modern web system that combined ease of use with specific tax compliance for Guatemala.
The Solution
We built a solution, prioritizing user experience and intuitive workflows. We developed an automated XML-FEL import engine that generates accounting entries without manual intervention, reducing errors. Its modular architecture allows managing multiple clients, customizing reports, and keeping accounting books updated and accessible, so that the accountant stops doing manual work and starts making decisions with reliable information.
